This novel is about a thirteen year old girl named Hannah. Hannah is a typical girl, prescript height, and normal weight. Hannah is also Jewish and she doesnt appreciate her heritage at all. Matter of fact she wishes she wasnt because she doesnt like all the traditions. This story precedent takes place around passover time which for m all of us is Easter. Hannah goes to her grandparents signaling for passover just like she does every other year. Hannah kind of await with her booster amplifier and eat jellybeans just like her friend do es. When Hannah gets to her grandparents rest home shes instantly annoyed and doesnt see any reason to be there, she doesnt take the holiday serious at all. During passover Hannah is chosen to be the one to open the doorstep. When opening the door it symbolizes back thence during the holocaust Jews had to open the door to do sure they werent doing any blood worshiping. Hannah goes to open the door and short she teleported back into 1942. Hannah wakes up in a strange small town and she hears peck employment the name Chaya. Chaya turns out to be Hannahs Hebraic name. One of the people who was calling her name claims to be her aunty Gitl. Gitl claims Chaya is there because her self-colored family was killed back in her hometown Dublin. After all chayas confusion they all head off to a marriage ceremony which is Gitls brother shmules.
